Questions people ask before applying
CebuFirst careers FAQs
Do I need a PRC licence to become a CebuFirst agent?
No. You can start as a salesperson under a licensed broker without a PRC licence of your own. CebuFirst operates under Bhonie Alia, PRC REB No. 0016020, and guides new agents through the DHSUD accreditation process. A PRC licence is required only if you want to practise as a broker.
Is there a joining fee or a placement fee?
No. Applying and joining CebuFirst is free, and the Career Orientation is free to attend. Any government accreditation costs are explained clearly during orientation before you commit to anything.
How do CebuFirst agents get paid?
Agents are paid on commission per closed transaction rather than a fixed salary. The commission structure, the release schedule and how it changes as you take on more responsibility are explained in full by your team leader during orientation.
Can I do this part time while I have another job?
Yes. Several CebuFirst agents started part time. You will be asked about your availability in the form so your team leader can set realistic expectations from the start.
I am an OFW working abroad. Can I still join?
Yes. Choose "Outside the Philippines" in the form and you will be routed to head office in Mandaue City. Many OFWs start by referring buyers and by handling family and community networks back home, in whichever province those buyers are, then move into full time selling when they return.
Which cities is CebuFirst hiring agents in?
CebuFirst keeps an office in eleven cities across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao: Mandaue City in Cebu as headquarters, plus Manila, Bacolod, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Bohol, Ormoc, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos and Butuan. Applications are welcome from any city in the Philippines. Where an area has its own designated leader your application goes straight to them, and everywhere else it is handled by head office in Mandaue City.
How soon will someone contact me after I apply?
The CebuFirst Recruitment Team reviews every application and makes contact within 24 to 48 hours. You will also see your assigned team leader's direct contact details on screen the moment you submit, so you do not have to wait to make the first move.
What if I am already with another brokerage?
That is fine and it is a common reason people apply. There is a field for your current company or brokerage when you complete your profile. Your conversation will focus on how transfers are handled, developer accreditations, and any obligations you may still have with your current brokerage.
What documents do I need to apply?
Nothing to start. The application itself takes six details. When you complete your profile you can attach your resume in PDF or Word format and a profile photo. A valid government ID is requested later, only once your application has passed the first conversation.
What is the free Career Orientation?
A short session, online or at the Mandaue City office, covering how CebuFirst works, the products you would be selling, the documentary process and the commission structure. There is no fee and no obligation to join afterwards.
